    How do I fix the "0xc00007b" error I am getting when trying to play a game?


    Yesterday morning, I was able to play Genshin Impact without any issues. However, when I came back to play that evening, I couldn't open the game and it gave me a "0xc00007b" error. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the game but I still couldn't open the game to launch it and fully re-install. What should I do to fix this error? I read that it is most likely an issue with Windows which is why I am posting here, to clarify.I have already tried:Updating my PCRunning the program as administrator Running some troubleshooters though they didn't find anything / couldn't fix anythingRestarting my

    Did you read all the reply's from the people that had that error msg?? 70% of them are saying that "fix" did NOT Work .... How do I fix the "0xc00007b" error I am getting when trying to play a game? :)

    Doesn't really tell me much *Wink
    Try
    running as administrator
    running in compatible mode
    uninstall all vc++, then reinstall only 2015 both x64 and x86 versions
    The latest supported Visual C++ downloads
    If the issue persists, try working backwards on the versions (2013, 2012, 2010, .... both x64 and x86 versions)

    It's not Win10 specific, so adjust the instructions (how to get to Settings - how to search, etc)

    I recently bought my Acer nitro 5 laptop with windows 10 on updated to latest drivers i was able to play every game i threw at it from dead space 2 to battlefield 5 but only three games are not running and showing the 0xc00007b error ie the Borderlands
    2, Metal gear solid 5 tpp, sekiro shadows die twice . I have done every thing possible found in internet to solve them uninstalled and installed redistributables,dism sfc scan everything but i am fed up now i reaaly wanna play those games pls help me
