Windows 10: How do I fix the colors in my games?

For almost over a year now all my games have issues with the colors. some are completely unrecognizable and others have colors like red and blue swapped and I don't know how to fix it. I need help! Sometimes I am able to fix it by making the game windowed instead of fullscreen, but if I close the game when I do this, then everything including menus and screensavers are like this, and the only way I can fix that issue is if I restart the whole computer.

Color Saturation changes while playing games

• Does this issue occur only while playing games?
  
• Have you downloaded the games from Microsoft Store?
  
• What is the make and model of the computer?

Method 1: Updating drivers



I suggest you to try updating the display drivers and see if that helps. Please follow the steps mentioned below:

1. Press Windows key + X, and select
   Device Manager.
   
2. Expand Display adapters.
   
3. Right click on the display driver and select
   Update Drivers.
   
4. Restart the computer if prompted.

Method 2: Calibrating Display color Profiles



You can try calibrating the Display Color Profiles as per your requirement and see if that helps. Please follow the steps mentioned below:

1. Type Color Management in the search bar on the
   Taskbar and open it.
   
2. Click on Advanced Tab.
   
3. Click on Calibrate Display, and follow the on-screen instructions to calibrate the display.
   
4. If you want to change the Default system profile, and then click on
   Change system defaults, click on the profile that you want to make default and click on
   Set as default to make the profile as the default profile.

Window background color - I don't appear to be able to do this on windows 10 as the change color scheme bit isn't there.

I suggest you to follow the below steps to change color scheme for Windows 10 and check if it helps.

• Right click on “Desktop screen”.
• Then click on “Personalize”.
• Click on “Colors”.
• And change the color accordingly.

Cortana's Font Color (Blue) is impossible to read when she responds to me

I understand that you are trying to change the font color for Cortana on your PC, I suggest you to follow the step mentioned below:

Steps:

1. Type ‘Color settings’ in the Windows search bar.
   
2. Tap on the ‘Color’ option.
   
3. Uncheck ‘Automatically pick an accent color from my background’.
   
4. You can select the preferred color, under
   Windows colors.
   
5. You can click on Cortana and you will be able to notice the color that was selected.
