    How do I fix the notification badge in the email app?


    Everything worked fine with the email app up until recently, its notification badge keeps showing me that I have 2 unread emails even if I don't. I even removed my accounts as you can see in the picture in order to fix it but nothing works...how can I fix it?

    Microsoft launcher - notification badges numbers are not working on my Verizon LG V30 running Android Oreo

    The steps I took to turn on Notification badges agree with what you have suggested and I did turn on
    notification badges in all apps.

    The reason I posted this issue on this site is because Microsoft is the developer of this app.

One feature that wasn’t really talked about much but evident during the session was taskbar badging. As you can see in the image below, taskbar badging is for Universal Windows Platform apps and showcases a notification counter on the taskbar.

    How do I fix the notification badge in the email app?

    Android Launcher Notification Badges in Oreo (Android 8)

    On a Verizon Galaxy S7, since the update to Oreo (Android 8.0), notification badges (unread email count) don't work properly. No matter the number of emails I've received, the badge only shows '1'. This is for both the Gmail app and the default Samsung email
    app using exchange for work email. The email app also accesses my Hotmail account, but those emails don't show in the unread badge count at all. Notification badges do work properly in the stock Samsung Experience launcher.
