    How do I fix the static in my mic during calls?


    Whenever I open any sort of game, this really loud static replaces my voice and it kills the ears of my friends! It's been happening for a good 3 months now and I can't seem to find a workaround. Restarting my pc, uninstalling audio drivers and reinstalling did not seem to work. Resetting voice settings only worked temporarily. Changing the Input and Output device on my games also did not work at all. I've figured out that discord was not the only one suffering this issue. Any app that uses mics gets affected. I can't have more than one application using my mic otherwise the thing in the video

    Mic static when using xbox chat on Windows 10

    I'm using a wired mic on Windows 10 and there's static on my end when joining parties. I've gone through the settings and tried other suggestions like changing the microphone's properties to studio mode. Nothing has worked so far. When using other apps like
    Discord or game chat there is not static. How can I fix this?
