Windows 10: How do I fix the Volume keys from doing other tasks on Programs/Games

Hello, I've been using my HP Pavilion Laptop for a while and I've noticed that every time I press one of my Volume keys Mute, Volume Up, and Volume Down. another action happens simultaneously. I've noticed this problem when playing games, when I want to lower the volume in a game it performs an action simultaneously and sometimes glitches the screen as well.An example of this is when I tried to lower my volume and the game opens up the Inventory or crouches the character.My Volume keys are also connected to the F5 F6 and F7 keys, but when I tried to unbound those keys from the game that did

Keyboard Volume Keys not working while in-game

I happen to have used the Tt Challenger Pro keyboard in the past, and the volume keys worked flawlessly in every game, so it's indeed a weird problem. I would suggest the same thing sneekypeet suggested, using the keyboard software and assign this function to a hotkey, but you said that didn't work either, so yeah...

I suggest you to try the steps below and check if it helps.

1. After opening the game, right click on the sound icon in the taskbar and select "open volume mixer".

2. If the particular game is listed, turn down the volume and check the result.

Are you able to follow them?
