Windows 10: How do I fix this access denied for fixboot and 0 windows installations installed?

I have been having non stop problems with my dell xps 8950. I cannot use startup repair, I constantly have corrupt files, and fixboot access is denied, I’m also getting denied when trying to flash bios through dell. At one point my windows defender found trojanA!plock, but haven’t gotten any notifications since. I really feel like my computer has been severely compromised to the point where when I use Microsoft edge or the the support assist, that is has actually been altered and isn’t the actual app. I have tried clean installing and it’s just the same thing over and over. Windows 10 can't boot, bootrec /fixboot access denied

Windows 10 will not boot (stuck on the rotating circles), after uninstalling Ubuntu by deleting the partition.

I attempted to use bootrec to fix it, however bootrec /fixboot gives me access denied.

bootrec /findos lists 0 found windows installations.

On a laptop (no cd drive, no usb stick >= 8gb).

Windows version 10.0.16299.15

 

"bootrec.exe /fixboot" Access is Denied.

Automatic repair was unable to fix my Windows 10, so I ran through the commands:

• bootrec.exe /rebuildbcd
  
• bootrec.exe /fixmbr
  
• bootrec.exe /fixboot
  

But the command window said that my access was denied. How do I fix this?

 

Bootrec /fixboot - Access Denied Error

I am trying to repair Windows 10 on an Acer laptop.

The USB windows repair boot disc wont repair it automatically so went to the Troubleshoot menu and the command line tools where your articles suggest I try the following commands.

Bootrec /fixmbr, This seems to work.

Bootrec /fixboot This come back with an "Access Denied" message

Bootrec /rebuildbcd This finds the windows installation and asks to add to the boot list, which I say Yes and then it says it cannot find the path specified.

Is there any chance of a fix to this issue. I note many users have a problem with doing this.
