Windows 10: How do i fix this i have been pressing my esc key but i does not seem to work

Esc key not working without pressing Fn

On my HP Probook 650 G1 some of the F1 - F12 keys have special functions like changing the volume/brightness, etc. I changed my BIOS settings so that I don't need to press the fn key to use those options, but now the esc key also only works when I press fn + esc. Is it possible to leave the F1 - F12 keys like this but still use the esc key without pressing fn?

Does it stop right at the Toshiba logo and sit there? Will it sit forever til you press a key, or will it eventually work after so long?

 

Multiple key works as the ESC key

My laptop's inbuilt keyboard's multiple key works as ESC key. And it happens automatically. Normally the keys are fine they do their job but after a certain period of time some key will automatically trigger as the ESC key specially CTRL, S, B, N, M. Before
pressing space-bar once or twice would have solve the problem but it doesn't help sometimes and now the problem is persistent. It occurs automatically maybe in every 10 mintutes. Sometimes it takes more or less to occur the problem
