Windows 10: how do i fix this parent thing and why is my *family organiser* called **** with ga as the...

I'm so confused, none of my parents or grandparents set up something like this and its showing that some random person is organizing this Microsoft family thing, and now I can't go on some of the sites I used to go on. I cant turn it off because I'm not the parent but there's no *parent* to ask to turn it off. what do I do

i am an adult and when i try to download anything from the store it keeps asking me for parents to sign in. at first i didnt have my birthday listed on my MS account but after entering the correct data nothing happens. i have tried every solution here
and nothing works. i want to turn off my family for good or at least "convince" MS that i am an adult. please just do something to fix this horrible thing

 

Can't add family organiser to family group

Hi, when trying to add a family member as an organiser to my family group I send the invite and an acknowledgement screen that states "Invitation sent to their email. When they accept, they'll join your family."

I logged out and logged back in with their MSA, went to their email and accepted the invitation. I was then presented with the following:

You haven't joined the family yet!

To join this family, you’ll need to leave the Microsoft family you’re already in.

Got it

Once you click "Got it" you just get a screen listing the members of the family. No instructions, no subsequent actions to take, nothing.

I've also tried clicking 'accept now' in my own account on the invitation page; I'm invited to login to their account, I see a summary screen listing the Organiser user profile details and click 'Yes' at the bottom. I then receive the error page:

" something went wrong, please try refreshing the page or try again later'

I've tried this multiple times without success!!

 

Windows 10 Family Safety is blocking my browser!!!

Can you confirm if you are out of the Family Safety feature on your parent's account on this
link? If you've confirmed that you're no longer on the list of monitored child accounts, we suggest deleting the Family Safety folder. Here are the steps:

• Press Windows key + E on your keyboard.
• On the address bar, type this address C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Parental Controls and press
  Enter.
• Delete all contents of the Parental Controls folder.
• Restart and see if the issue is resolved.
