Windows 10: How do I fix this power saving mode issue?

Hello,A month ago I started to have this problem on my computer where if I play a game, for some time usually 5-10 minutes. My pc's performance progressively gets worse and then by the time it gets really bad to the fact that it barely shows frames, it shuts down to power saving mode.I've tried cleaning the motherboard and the fans, well it did work with the performance being kind of decent. Though it would still shut down to power saving mode.Now it's on the point where i cant boot up the pc due to also it saying power saving mode.Im hoping I could get help here on what I should do to fix thi

In Windows 11 power-saving mode, clicking the Windows Focus prompt on the lock screen will cause a system crash.

Problem description: As the title suggests.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Enter Windows 11 power-saving mode.
   
2. Click the Windows Focus prompt on the lock screen.
   

Expected result: The login screen should appear and after logging in, the browser should automatically open to view content.

Actual result: The system crashes.

Device information:

• Windows 11 version: 22H2 (22621.1413)
  
• Device: Lenovo Xiaoxin 14 Pro 2021
  
• CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800H
  

Other information:

• When plugged in, the system automatically turns off power-saving mode and cannot be turned on manually. The function works normally.
  
• When unplugged, turn off power-saving mode and the function works normally.
  
• When unplugged, turn on power-saving mode and the system crashes.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with power. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Power.

Refer these steps:

1. Press Windows key +X, select Control panel.

2. Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons.

3. Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel.

4. Run the Power troubleshooter.

Method 2: To see the power-saving settings for the printer,

1. Go to “Device Manager.”

2. Click the arrow beside “Printers” to show your printer, then right-click on the printer and choose “Properties.”

3. Click the “Power management” tab and then uncheck the box beside “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.”


4. Click “OK” to save your changes.

For issues with sleep mode and power options follow the steps provided below.

Run the Power troubleshooter and check.

Follow the steps to run the troubleshooter:

• Open Control Panel.
• Type Troubleshooting in search and click
  Troubleshooting.
• Now type Power in the search option.
• Click on Power troubleshooter to run.

I would suggest you to try updating the Display driver and check if the issue persists. If you already have all the latest drivers from Windows updates, then I would suggest you to visit the computer manufacturer's website, download and install the latest
drivers in compatibility mode and check.
