How do I globally disable display auto-scaling?

Hi,

In reply to your query with disabling automatic scaling while connecting an external interface.

The scaling is adjusted with the display resolution in dots per inch (DPI) with device you connecting with your PC and its by design.

However you can set a custom scaling level.


To set a custom scaling level :

1. Type "dpiscaling" in the search area on the taskbar and select dpiscaling.

2. Change the scaling settings in the display window.

3. In the display window, you can click on set a custom scaling level option and check if it helps.

Also you can provide us your valuable suggestion in our feedback app.

Follow the steps :

1.Type Feedback in search bar.

2. Select/double click the Feedback app from the listed option in search.

3. Follow online instruction.

How do I globally disable display auto-scaling?

I have a 15.6" laptop with a 1080p display that I use for business when traveling. Whenever I plug in a separate display to my computer- no matter how many (2 or 3) or what interface (VGA, DP, HDMI, or a combo)- Windows automatically scales my laptop screen
to 125% and tells me it's "recommended." This completely distorts my screen even after I reset the scaling to 100%, and I must close every program and restart the machine to fix the "solution" I didn't want but MS gave me anyway.

So my question is: How do I disable automatic scaling on a global level? Or, if I cannot (that would be stupid, but I expect it from MS) is there some registry hack to force the scaling to always be at 100%?

Windows 10 display resolution and scaling

have a HP Envy laptop with a Nvidia graphics card installed. The screen resolution is set to the maximum currently. However, when I play games, I would like the display on my laptop to show up smaller than it currently does. This will show more of my
game on the screen. Is there any way to change the Windows 10 display scaling below 100% (96 dpi)? The Windows 10 minimum is 100% is there any to change the scaling? Is there any other way to change the display to show up smaller on the screen In Windows
10? I have looked at numerous websites to try and find an answer to the issue. The answer to the issue on these websites mostly involve the display resolution. However, my resolution is already at maximum. Does anyone know a solution for this? If so, please
