Windows 10: How do I fix "We're getting things ready" message hanging when I bring up iCloud for Windows?

I recently got a new computer for Christmas an Asus with Windows 11.I recently downloaded and installed iCloud for Windows from the Microsoft Store.When I brought up the app, a message came up that said "We're getting things ready", but the progress bar hang at 0% for over 15 minutes. It won't move past 0%.How do I fix this?

I can't open iTunes or iCloud in Windows 10
