How do I fix windows 11 it sucks. Can't save anything to desk top. Lost microsoft store. Can't do a restore to a differnt date. Microsoft YOU SUCK.

I am having trouble saving a file to my desk top.

I am having trouble saving files to my desk top. Example, I have a spreadsheet ready, file , save as and Desk top is not listed as a choice to save it. My Documents... not there. Where do I go to save the file to my desk top? Desk top is not in my Documents

 

Saving to Desk top

For us to properly isolate your concern in saving a document on your desktop, we would like to know the following:

• Were there any changes made on your computer prior to the issue (e.g., updates, software installation)?
• To make sure that we have not missed on anything, what troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
• Send us a screenshot of your Display settings.

We suggest that you try switching your monitor 1 and 2, and check if the issue still persists.

What is the make and model of the printer?



Let us try the following steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: Printer troubleshooter

• Type “Troubleshooting” in the search box and select the utility from the results
• The Troubleshooting window will now open. From the left menu, select “View All“
• From the list that opens, select “Printer” and a new window will open
• Follow the steps of the troubleshooter and apply the fixes that are given.

Step 2: You may download the latest driver for printer from manufacturer website, and install it in compatibility mode.



Follow the below steps:

a. Download the latest printer driver for Windows 10 from the manufacturer’s website and save it on your local disk.

b. Right click on the setup file of the driver and select “Properties”.

c. Select “Compatibility” Tab.

d. Place a check mark next to “Run this program in Compatibility mode” and
select Windows 8 from the drop down list.

e. Let the driver install and then check the functionality.
