Windows 10: How do I get 1080p on my 768p monitor? I once did it a year ago but now it doesn't seem to...

I have a 1336x768p monitor connected via a VGA cable. A year ago I found out that you can set custom resolutions on your monitor so I opened the Intel graphics control Panel and set the custom resolution to 1920x1080p and it worked icons were blurry but that doesn't matter. Now I want to do that againmy PC was infected with a virus so I had to reset itbut it doesn't seem to work..... I clicked on the custom resolutions tab and set it to 1920x1080p 60hertz but it diesn't apper in the resolutions list. Can anyone help me with this?My specs:Intel core-i3 4130Intel HD 44008GB RAM

I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

nothing,doesn´t work.any suggestion????

 

Dual Monitor Setup issues - 4k and 1080p combination

The issue is worse than it seems at first. I have a 4k display (200%) scaling and a 1080p display (100% scaling) and even office apps look blurry on the 1080p display. If I unplug the 4k display and reboot the problem goes away. I believe the problem is
present on all apps and is a system issue. It's been suggested that to get the 100% scaling everything on both monitors is generated at 200% and then the part on the 1080p display is downsampled to 100%, resulting in the poor quality.

As it is Windows 10 is almost unusable with a very different DPI dual monitor setup.
