Windows 10: How do I get a Ps/2 Mouse to work on windows 11?

Hello,I have an old ps/2 mouse and I was trying to get it to hook up to my windows 11 PC. It already comes with a ps/2 port on it, tried plugging the mouse in to see if it would work, and it didn't, then tried using an adapter, which also didn't work. Then tried HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Services \i8042prt \ start, which also didn't work. I'm now out of options and don't know what to do next, suggestions would be helpful.

How to connect PS/2 Keyboard and mouse in Windows 10?!

So, my keyboard and mouse are having PS/2 ports. When I insert it the sensor light at back of the mouse turn on but it doesn't move the cursor or say it doesn't work but the power supply is okay, and with the keyboard it's the same it also when inserted
gets power supply and Num Lock, Caps Lock Led(s) blink for 2 sec and then pause and blink again for 2 seconds but it also doesn't work and it is also just plugged so I want to know the steps to update the driver or any other method I can use to get my PS/2
keyboard and mouse working in my computer, I also have spare USB keyboard and mouse. Please help!!!

Also I checked they are not even listed in the device manager.

 

Ps 2 Mouse Stpped working

After a recent windows 10 update on one of my PC's the ps 2 ported mouse stopped working.

Nothing I tried from this website worked. The pc had an older type motherboard with both mouse & keyboard ps 2 ports that have worked for several years.10+

The Keyboard still worked fine it was just a loss of the mouse. and was annoying.

The solution was found after I downloaded Logitech m235 driver for a radio mouse I use on another machine.

After loading Logitech Options I noticed an option within this to load PS 2 drivers so tried it. Now my ps 2 port worked again.

So load Logitech ps 2 driver should cure if all else fails.

my ps/2 mouse doesn't work in windows 10 correctly

hello every one

I have a ps/2 mouse and a wacom ctl 472-s usb pen mouse

my OS is windows 10 enterprise

and until a few days ago these two mouse were working flawlessly

but from a few days ago until now , when I turn my PC on , windows doesn't identify ps/2 mouse (no pointer , no moving , no clicks effect , no ....) .

this is funny that when I restart my system , ps/2 mouse is working

and when I want to enter my password , Without me typing anything, many characters are automatically typed into the password box, and more are added with the any click of the mouse. ( after that everything is OK in windows)

I think this is because of windows update issues ,

because when I uninstall ps/2 mouse driver ( by usb pen mouse when ps/2 mouse not working ) system restarts and ps/2 mouse work properly ! ( without I install ps/2 mouse driver , my ps/2 mouse driver manufacturer is microsoft )

somebody help me please

what's my system problem from ? windows update issues or driver issues ?
