Windows 10: How do I get back all the files when I accidentally format my SSD drive D?

I accidentally did quick format on my D: drive and all files are gone. I have use several recovery applications to restore the lost files but it didn't work at all. I could find all the files I lost in D: drive. So the next day I put some files to D: drive and delete it not format and I use my recovery apps to restore it, and it can find those files that I deleted. My windows version is Win 11.Can I get back all the lost files? If can, how can I do it?Thank you

• Type Command prompt in the search bar.
• Type-in the following command:
  
  attrib -h -r -s /s /d D:\*.*
• Press Enter to execute the command.

If you think that there is nothing important stored in it, then we suggest that you reformat your D drive so that you can use the free space for important files.

• Click on the File Explorer.
• Select This PC.
• Right-click on your D drive, then click on Format.

Format SSD drive or any drive

Think of a hard drive or SSD as a book . . .

A Quick Format basically deletes the contents page (File Allocation Table), whereas a Long Format will also delete all the pages (Files)

If a quick format is taking 2 hours on your SSD and you are experiencing problems with Windows, when only performing a Quick Format, then I would suggest the formatting operation is not the problem, most likely that SSD has a problem. A Quick format on that
drive, should take approx. 10 minutes . . .

 

accidentally formatted system files

I accidentally formatted system files of 350 Mb during windows10 installation & then installed the windows in C drive after formatting it, but after successful installation, there came some system files in drive D on its own, while the data which was there
in D drive got transferred to a folder- "users". But some data is missing. I am unable to restore th windows also because i didn't created any restore point. Previously windows 7 was there in the system. Pls help me to restore that data as it contained some
important files.
