    How do i get back missing file C:\window\system32\msdt.exe


    Hi i cant connect to the internet, i got a message that say "windows can not find'C:\Windows\system32\msdt.exe'. Make sure you type the name correctly, and then try again." on the command Promt i ran a scan via "sfc/scannow" and i got a message that say "for online repairs include the CBS log file located at windir\logs\CBS\CBS. log. For offline details are included in the log file provided by the /OFFLOGFILE Flag." My question is am offline, where do i find OFFLOGFILE.. so i can repairs these courrped files

    missing windows / system32 / configure / system?

    ok so i ive just reformatted and while installing drivers my comp reboots and it comes up saying that im missing windows/system32/configure/system file or something... how can i fix this or do i need to reformat again and see?

    okay ive done the same thing as you but i cant put the file back into the folder

    • Copy nvlddmkm.sys in C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\nv_dispi.inf_amd64_5518e59e8d3b48f4\ to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\ and replace the existing one.

    missing windows / system32 / configure / system?

    try installing windows again without your overclock you may be pushing too hard with stock cooling and overclock for system files to be getting lost
