Windows 10: How do I get back my kids accounts when I created them in 2020, and now no longer appear in...

in 2020, I created email addresses accounts for my children so they could login to our windows 10 machine, and have their own stuff/space. I created them in such a way to be consistent with each other, and as a @hotmail.com address on purpose and a opened to @outlook.com. Now when 2 of the kids tries to login to Minecraft using their Microsoft account so they could play with each other, it tells me that the account does not exist... but when I try to create it, I get the message that it is already in use and to select another one. I want to create the kids family accounts but it forces you to assign /create an email even after selecting no email . then trying to enter something that is similar to their name doesnt work either as i get errors 'part of reserved domain' even when i put total random characters.

All i want to do is add the existing local kids accounts to the family list but it doesn't let me do that without assigning them an email? Is this correct?

This new MS stuff sucks its just not that straightforward and they are trying to force you into email accounts when you dont want one.

 

Local account installation question

I'm fairly certain that Skip this step was available in 10.0.130 - the workaround in Step 20 (back button) is no longer required.

The currently known, as of 10.0.130, ways to create a Local account sign-in are

• Skip this step at the MS account creation phase
• No Internet connection during the install
• static IP (post# 2 by Fragment) - New (to me anyway)

 

Jump Lists No Longer Appear

After the uninstallation of some software yesterday, I no longer have jump lists in my taskbar icons. I right click on them, and there's no response whatsoever. Right click functionality on the taskbar itself and in all other places appears to be normal. I'm hoping there will be a relatively simple registry key I can edit or something. Anyone have some suggestions?
