How do I get back onto my laptop! Update done last night now prompting for bitlocker key. Put it in and it just keeps looping back to it. Dell laptop Dell XPS 17 9710Help!! I can’t afford for my laptop to not be accessible after an update! Thanks

Bitlocker Randomly Enabled

Hi,

On my personal Lenovo laptop, Bitlocker somehow randomly was enabled. I have not enabled it, and I followed the recovery steps without luck. It seems that it was enabled during an update. I logged into my Microsoft account, see that the laptop is listed, but there is no bitlocker key listed. I am at a loss on what the next steps might be for me to be able to log into my computer at this point.

Turned off last night, and this morning I have a Bitlocker screen. It does not say BITLOCKER RECOVERY. only BITLOCKER. None of the support suggestions work nor can I get any other screen.

I downloaded a Microsoft game last night, maybe it was a virus? I've had this Surface computer for three years and I've never seen or heard of Bitlocker.
