Windows 10: How do i get back to my normal log in with my normal pin?

The message "Something happened and your PIN isn't available. Click below to reset pin". But when i click it, it flashes for a second and then nothing happens. So I'm stuck in the log in screen. The last thing I was doing before this happened is; I was trying to restore my pc to before an update because my pc was crashing. I booted into safe mode and a warning popped saying something about needing my encryption key. I noted it down and tried to restore it. At this point, im not even sure if it restored. But when it restarted, that message about my pin popped up and I haven't been able to get a

Is this normal?

I have a 5870 and i get that some times. I think is because of the SSD's speed or at list that didn't happened wen i was on a normal HDD.

Still not sure if it's normal or not.

It's not normal, your card is dying. Those are artefacts which occur when there is a physical fault. Usually you get artefact if you OC a card too far, but it isn't always OC related.

 

log in ignoring pin/password


Hi, I have a minor log in problem after coming out of a sleep, I normally use a pin to log in but recently when I enter a pin it will say I have miss input the keys then after a few attempts it will give me the option to input a password this then does the same, If I then turn my surface pro off (this normally takes 2 or 3 attempts as it pushes me back to a log in screen) when I restart it logs in no problem. This only started yesterday and seems to be when it has been asleep for a few hours, I don't have things like hibernate or hybrid sleep active.
