Windows 10: How do I get back to prior to the 31/10/23 update

I was using windows 7 back up feature in windows 11 and it has created a iso and back-up over a number of days onto an external drive. On 30th Oct the SDD faiuled and was replaced. I am now told that as it's not exactly the same version of windows this back-up is useless. Is that correct. Secondly, I asked that aside from what's the point of aback up if it cvannot be accessed by a new drive.... The real 2nd question is where do I find a 'windows installer for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems KB5030219 ' which is what I am told I need. If anyone can help with the original p

From the description provided, I understand that the Windows 10 is unable to download the latest updates for November.

Kindly follow the below suggested steps and see if it helps to resolve the issue with the failed updates and then try again to check.

A. Check whether the Windows date and Time set to Automatic and synced.

B. Disconnect all the peripheral devices except for the mouse and keyboard.

C. Update all your computer's drivers from manufacturer’s website.

D. Follow these steps to run the Windows inbuilt troubleshooter:

• Write Troubleshooting in the search box and hit enter.

• Click on Troubleshooting tab.
  

• Click on view all option on the upper left corner.
  

• Select the Windows Update option from the list.
  

• Click Next to run the Troubleshooter.

Windows 10 update 23 July

Thanks but I can't get update info for 23 July Features update as another update took place on Friday morning 24 July which I hoped would clear the problem (it didn't). That is the only list on the installed updates page - nothing on 23 July update.

 

Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
