  1. How do I get Blank Workbook Book1-Excel to save my Settings?

I want whenever I open a new Workbook on on Excel I want it to open with the settings I like instead of doing it every time I open a Blank WorkBook1-Excel.

Also the same thing with a Blank document on Word.

Can you help me on this?

    :)

Excel Taskbar Icon not showing pinned workbooks

The Office 365 Excel Taskbar icon will not show list of pinned workbooks. I have to open Excel and then select from pinned workbooks.

The windows update assistant was used to do an update install, keep programs and files.

Some but not all Excel workbooks appear in taskbar.

Welcome to Windows Ten Forums, ju severn and restexas.

Don't know why you're having the issue and I don't have Office installed on my 10, but have in 8.1. I also have not had that many Excel workbooks opened to know if perhaps there's a limit to the list set in Office or in 10. I worked more with seperate sheets in a workbook rather than separate workbooks. However, for now to keep you working without the distraction, could you open a separate instance of Excel and work with it that way? Somewhat of a PITA I know, but that may work for now until resolved.

How do I get Blank Workbook Book1-Excel to save my Settings?

    Saving thumbnail in Excel

When I save a workbook in Excel 2016 it will save, as a thumbnail, the thumbnail of the first workbook I created so if I have a lot of workbooks with different dates in he first column all workbooks will save with the date of the first workbook saved showing.

If I save the workbooks in Excel 2013 each workbook will show with the correct date showing in the thumbnail.

How can I make Excel 16 thumbnails behave in the same way as Excel 13 thumbnails?
