Windows 10: How do I get miracast working on my PC?

Sorry if this is an idiot question but I looked everywhere and I can't find any straight answer about this.

I want to be able to stream my phone's screen and audio wirelessly on my pc, i can use an type-c to hdmi cable and hook it up to a capture card, it works but the cables are big and get in the way. I do this because I stream mobile games occassionally.

I've searched on stores everywhere and all I could find was miracast receivers for TVs with the hdmi male which enables a tv to receive miracast.

My questions are:

Since it's supposed to be a wireless wifi connection between two devices, will buying a usb wifi card work? My pc is a desktop one and does not have wifi adapters.

Can I use those Miracast receivers with the hdmi ends and plug it in on my capture card, making Miracast from my phone to the receiver then onto the capture card and my pc?

Is there a certain product I can buy to enable Miracast on my pc itself?

Issues with Miracast are usually resolved by installing the latest drivers for your PC and the latest firmware for your wireless display or Miracast adapter. To update firmware on your wireless display or adapter, go to the Support section of the manufacturer's
website, search on your specific device, and follow their instructions to download and install that firmware. You can also check the Windows Store to see if there’s an app from the manufacturer of your wireless display or Miracast adapter that updates firmware.
