  1. How do I get my apps back and working after a boot?

I just experrinced a dreadful 'blue screen error' and have under gone numerous steps to get back into my Laptop, which is Alienware. After locating the bitlocker on my account and following the steps for an external USB reinstallation of windows, I managed to gain access to advanced setting, but also gained the same response, 'sign-in disabled'...I finally was successful when I followed the command prompt for creating a new pin, but now I am back into my CPU, and my apps such as Microsoft Word denies me access, and my mouse on the keypad does not move, and I am unable to gain internet access.

    :)

Mail app will not open on 10041.

    Hello Adam,

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it. How do I get my apps back and working after a boot? :)

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

    • Open powershell as administrator
    • Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
    • Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.
