    How do I get my computer fixed after the last Win10 update won't boot??


    About a week ago my computer went through the typical Win10 update spinning dots. When it finished the computer

    would not boot. It attempted a "auto repair" but then decided it could not fix the problem. I am now in an endless loop of

    "failed boot, auto repair, can't fix" repeat... How will Microsoft fix this for me? I am running Win10 Pro on a Lenovo.

    This is unacceptable!! Don't suggest any fix that requires MBR or Control Panel because I CAN"T BOOT. Even in command prompt

    which I can get to through the troubleshooting menu will not repair MBR.

    Win10: windows update stuck at never ending loop ?

    When in win10:
    • Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....
    Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
    - Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.

    computer won't boot but has power

    Kursah, that 6 steps are granted it always boots at the 6th step (sometimes at the 4th) and I have to remove the ethernet cable every time otherwise I'll have to do countless steps, that's a fact. I do not have Wake On Lan set.

    HDD won't show up

    I believe your suggestion fixed it.Gonna try a few more boot ups just to be sure *Laugh :laugh:
    Sorry for not mentioning Win10 earlier.Asked a few weeks back on another forum and was led to believe that it probably was irrelevant.
