Windows 10: How do I get my computer to install updates properly?

Hi. So I have a windows 10 pro computer. I'm trying to update the system but every time that I try to update it by restarting it will not restart properly, I get a blue screen with the words "Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart". It doesn't restart, it just shuts down. When I turn the computer back on, it turns to "attempting repairs". Then it goes to a blue screen that says "we weren't able to complete the updates, undoing changes". I really don't want to deal with this happening every time I turn the computer back on after trying to restart it after trying to update it. I'm able to log in when it's all finished but I cannot update it. Please help.

Insurgency wont install and run for me....

I have played and have fully updated CS and Half life 2....
I am using the newest client and installed the SDK.

I am completely blown away, if i click the desktop icon it starts the sdk and then closes, and it doesn't show up in my game list...

First mod attempt install here, followed the directions step by step on the mods website...

Any ideas?

• Were there any changes made on your computer prior to the issue (e.g. updates, software installation)?
• To make sure that we have not missed on anything, what specific troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
