Windows 10: How do I get my cursor to move freely between docs without clicking?

I use 3 monitors with my Windows 11 laptop. My cursor moves freely from one monitor to another but how do I get the cursor to be already active on the document without having to click on it. Mostly refering to Excel. It does on some of my docs but I have no idea how or why. But I like it and would like to it to be the norm.

Try with a different browser and check if it works.

It could be a browser or browser's settings issue.

I suggest you to run the Printer Troubleshooter and check if it helps.

  In Search window type Troubleshooting and click on it to open it.

  Click on Hardware and Sound.
  
• 
  Then click on Printer to run the troubleshooter. Follow onscreen steps.

cursor dissappeared

Thank you both for your prompt replies, I tried all steps listed, some I had tries previously but I still tried them again, but still no cursor.

Do you have any other suggestions?

 

Freely moving desktop icons in windows 10

Hi,

I suggest you to try the steps below and check if it helps.

• Right click on the blank space on desktop.
• Click on View.
• Uncheck Align icons to grid.
