Windows 10: How do I get my pc to update? It tries too, then says it can’t apply the changes and undoes...

I have over 300gb of space so it’s absolutely not a storage problem. I was having driver problems before this and a friend helped me fix it, then this started. It’s made my pc super laggy and hard to use and I can barely run any of the games I used too

:)

 

I tried to reset PC but it says undoing changes and again restarts.

Laptop is not starting. It says your pc ran into some problem need to restart. It's stopcode is critical service failed.

A) give me solution for these

B) I tried to reset my laptop but starts and says undoing changes and restarts. Pls give me solution for this.

 

We couldn't complete the updated, undoing changes...

I suggest you to run the Windows Update troubleshooter and check if it helps.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Update. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Windows update.

Refer these steps:

• 
  Press Windows key +X, select
  Control panel.
  
• 
  Change the view by option on the
  top right to Large icons.
  
• 
  Click on troubleshooting and click on the
  view all option on the left panel.
  
• 
  Run the Windows Update troubleshooter.

In order to help you with the appropriate troubleshooting steps, pleas reply with the details requested below:

• Do you receive any error message after Windows update?
  
• May I know after which update do you see this message?
  
• When you say, “this message appear about half and hour" does the computer boot to the desktop?
  
• What is the make and model of the computer?
  

If the computer doesn’t boot to the Desktop, I would suggest you to refer the suggestions provided by DaveM121 replied on April 7, 2019 in the thread

'Undoing changes made to your computer' in Windows 10.



If you are able to boot the computer to the Desktop, I would suggest you to run the

Windows Update Troubleshooter and see if that helps.



If the issue persists, I would suggest you to reset Windows Update components. Kindly refer the article by Sumit on

How to:Reset Windows update components in Windows.



You may also want to refer the steps mentioned in the article

Note: While performing chkdsk on the hard drive if any bad sectors are found on the hard drive when chkdsk tries to repair that sector if any data available on that might be lost. Also, the last step in the article
talks about Clean installation, please do not perform a clean installation of Windows.
