How do I get my scanner to scan a picture?

Scanning old pictures

There should not be any such limit.

You may only need to "refresh" the window in which you are looking at the image files. Either press F5 (or click View > Refresh) or close and then re-open Windows Explorer.

If refreshing the window doesn't help ....

• Did you get any error message? If so, please provide the complete text of the message.

• Please describe step-by-step, how you are scanning the pictures. Include the make and model of your scanner.

 

Format for scanning pictures from scanner has changed

I used PSP 7 for years to scan hundreds of pictures from my "all in one" Brother laser printer. I've always used the same steps to scan, click on import-twain-acquire, and the picture would show up. Now when I take these same steps that worked so well, I get a screen that says photo, and if I click on it to start the scan, I get a very small picture. At the top of this screen, it shows this must be coming from my Brother printer/scanner. I've checked all the settings I could find in my PSP 9. and also my printer, and can't find a way to eliminate that step. Any suggestions ? I've attached 2 pictures as to what I'm referring to. TIA

• Were you able to use the scanner earlier?
  
• Which build version of Windows 10 is installed on the computer? To check type:
  winver in the search bar on the Taskbar and hit
  Enter.
