  1. How do I get my shortcuts back?

Hello. I recently got a new laptop for work. But when I logged in to one drive it synced the shortcuts of my personal computer to my laptop and I didn't want that so I deleted those shortcuts off of my laptop but when I logged into my personal computer the shortcuts where gone. I have tried restoring my shortcuts, unlinking my laptop snd my pc but nothing has worked. I also have many shortcuts on my pc so I can't remember all of them. Is there a way to reverse this? Thank you.

    :)

I would suggest you to try the following steps and check if that helps.

    • Go to the folder C:\Windows\System32 and sort by file type.
    • Look for the screensaver file type (.scr).
    • Find the file scrnsave.scr(you can choose any of the screensavers).
    • Right click and select send to>desktop (create shortcut). The shortcut on my attachment, but when i click on it my screen goes off and on and nothing else. How do I get my shortcuts back? :)
