    How do I get my surface pro 8 out of a boot configuration error loop?


    I have restarted multiple times after force shutting down. Please help me fix it at home!!

    Hello Jimmy, How do I get my surface pro 8 out of a boot configuration error loop? :)

    This doesn't list the "Surface Laptop", but you might give it a try to see.

    *Arrow Boot Microsoft Surface from a USB device

    Otherwise, you should be able to use OPTION ONE below to boot from the USB from advanced startup.

    Surface Pro Stuck in a boot loop

    Also, try and look at this article. Not sure which version surface you have, but this is for the 4 and seems like the same problem, endless boot loops.

    Surface pro 2017 stuck at boot

    The Linux GRUB bootloader may be interfering. I would always add linux to the Windows Boot Manager:
