when i turn on my hp laptop it automatically opens 3d viewer and i can’t exit

I understand the issue you have, there is nothing to worry I am here to help, and yes, technically it should work fine on Windows 11, since you experience issues with the app I suggest following the steps below:

Method 1. Repair the 3D Viewer app

On Powershell(admin), copy and paste the command below:

Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

Then hit Enter.

Once done, open Command Prompt (admin), copy and paste the command below:

PowerShell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted -Command "& {$manifest = (Get-AppxPackage *Microsoft3DViewer*).InstallLocation + '\AppxManifest.xml' ; Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $manifest}

Then hit Enter, once the process is done, restart the PC and check.

If none will work from the above solution, I suggest doing an in-place upgrade wherein it will upgrade the device to the latest version and repair all issues without deleting any files.

Is 3D viewer incompatible with Windows 11?

Since updating to Windows 11, I can't save anything from the 3D library, in 3D viewer. I can open the app and view everything just fine. When I try to save things, it says "cannot save file." No error beyond that or any explanation as to why. I have tried reset, repair, and even reinstalling. Nothing fixes the problem. Below is the app I am referring to.

In order to disable 3D hardware acceleration, I suggest you to follow the steps below.

• Right click on the desktop and select Graphics properties.
• Select Basic Mode and hit OK.
• Go to the 3D option.
• You can disable 3D graphics acceleration from this screen.
