I have not changed the theme. My bkground screen used to be white and font black. Now the bkground is grey and font white. However, I will try to change the theme to see if that would change the bkground color. Thanks for your suggestion.

• Have you made any changes to the system prior to this issue?

You might have set the theme to high contrast #1 on your Computer that is the reason you are getting black screen with white fonts.

I suggest you to follow the below steps, change your theme settings and check if this helps.

• Click on Start.
• Select Settings.
• Now click on Personalization.
• Click on Themes from the left list and click on Theme settings.
• Now select any of the Windows default themes.

The background color on my text messaging screen has changed from white bkground with black font to a green screen with white font. Can someone tell me how to change it back.
