Douglas Hall8 had posted having this problem a few months ago and so did I, a few days ago.Mine lust like his began with "Stil workng a few things. Almost there. Dont turn off your computer."He even went into safe mode and after it performed several steps it ended with the same black screen I had.Like him, I did the uplug and restart and got the same messagel which never ended.Like him I could move my mouse around the screen but could not do anything else.The advisor, in th end, suggested he try to return his computer because that was the final advice he was given.I FOUND THE SOLUTION.So,

Hello,

When attempting to login to my computer, I get the following message:

"The User Profile Service service failed the sign-in.

User profile cannot be loaded."

I referred to this Help article,You receive a "The User Profile Service failed the logon” error
message,

but the only difference is I only have one user profile on this computer. So, I can't login with another user to go through the steps listed in this post.

Any suggestions?

See if you may be able to use OPTION FOUR in the tutorial below to enable the built-in Administrator account at boot.

If so, then sign in to the built-in Administrator account to be able to do the steps in the tutorial below for this error.
