Windows 10: How do I get rid of my keyboard setup?

My keyboard has the infuriating tendency to switch to a Canadian layout. keys such as ' / . , are all replaced with accented characters. In my settings my region is the US, and my preferred language, windows display, Apps & Websites, and keyboard are all set to English US. The ONLY preferred language available is English United States. However, on windows + space, I have 3 keyboard options: English Canada with US Keyboard, English US with US Keyboard, and English US with Canadian Multilingual Standard. Furthermore, in my settings under preferred language, my only language Englis

I suggest you to check if the issue persists when you connect another keyboard to your system.

If the issue is with the keyboard, then suggest you to update the keyboard drivers by following the steps below.

  Press Windows key + X and select
  Device Manager from the list.

  Expand ‘Keyboard’ from the list.
  
• 
  Right click on the driver and select ‘update driver software’ and follow the prompts.

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Press and hold the Windows logo key and then press the Spacebar repeatedly, you will be able to switch between the languages.

And also check how many languages installed in your system.

To address your concern, we suggest that you try the following steps:

• Click Start and then click Settings
• Click on Ease of access
• Click Keyboard in the left pane
• Turn off Filter Keys in the right pane

Also, try pressing the Fn+ Num Lock keys to turn off the Number lock function.
