Windows 10: How do I get rid of the lock screen on a Windows 10 Dell laptop?

i've had this new Dell computer for exactly one month and I'm tired of the settings Dell has changed to "make me safe". The most irritating so far is the lock screen. On my other Windows 10 computers I've been able to disable the lock screen with netplwiz, but not with this one (Dell Inspiron 2n1). I even went into the registry and put in a new DWord under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Personalization. I no longer have the lock screen on sleep, but I don't want it at all, since I power it down every night.

If it weren't for the fact that this is a touch screen, I'd just wipe the disk and start with a Microsoft clean install instead of Dell's version, which I've already tried for other reasons. I've downloaded all the drivers to a USB, and if it comes to that, I'll do it, but I'm not sure which drivers I'd need. I'd far rather just find out how to get rid of the lock screen once and for all.

Getting rid of Lock Screen?

No need to mess with the registry yourself.

You can use the .reg from from step 4 in Option 5 of the tutorial below to disable require sign-in on wakeup.

i can not change lock screen background wallpaper in my dell laptop

the lock screen wallpaper is not changing in windows 10. I have dell Vostro 15 3568 laptop. a default lock screen has been fixed and other images or wallpapers are not working.plz help me to fix the issue ,I have tried the methods suggested on internet
but couldn't find solution

• When you say that "I can't activate it again.", are you referring that you are not able to Activate Windows 10?

1. Right click on Desktop screen.

2. Then click on Personalize.

3. Click on Lock Screen.

4. Try to select the lock screen picture.
