how do I get rid of the name on the demo computer I bought at Costco? and shut down the RDX Hub?

There is an administrator name and email on my computer

I bought a new laptop. There is an account registered with name and email. I have no idea who this person is and suspect the computer was previously owned and sold to me as new. I cannot remove that name because it is listed as administrator. I can add my
name but it makes me nervous. I have contacted Costco where I bought the computer and they advise to wipe the entire thing and start over. Not that they will do that, I would have to. And I have contacted HP who suggests I pay for a higher level of support.
And I have contacted Microsoft who suggest I look at the forum where I do not find an answer. What I wouldn't give for someone who can help.

 

Update to Windows 10 sent computer back into Demo Mode

The update to Windows 10 sent the computer back into a Demo Mode and "hid" all of my files. I had bought the computer from a store as an open box. Its now in Demo Mode and I'm locked out of admin and can't get to any of my files saved under my own user
account. Any suggestions?

 

Auto deploying RDX

Hi there, Is it possible to automatically configure the retail demo mode if you are doing an unattend setup of Win 10 OOBE, maybe via the unattend.xml or some other config file. Or possibly via a batch or powershell script to configure this particular setting. In terms of device specific RDX configuration, this is not a requirement. As we skip this, I just need to stick it into RDX mode & set the password and enable persistence of the retail admin account. Many Thanks.
