Windows 10: How do I get rid of "This day in histrory" from Connatix, a pop up in my browser, Microsoft...

I think this is related to my page in allmyfaves.com . I was going crazy with this and finding no good references on Google. I stopped and took a break. Booted up Linux on my laptop. I started Opera with AllMyFaves and up pops "This day in histrory". That machine has been dormant for months, so how the bloody blue blazes did this get there? Yes, they are part ot the same network, but I had not accessed my primary machine. AllMyFaves syncs all its iterations accross networks. My wife hasn't been in complaining, so it seems tied to my page in AllMyFaves. What should I do?

browser hijacked

I've removed viruses using Avast & Malwarebytes but still get browser redirects when trying to go to any Microsoft sites or update page. Any suggestions?
