Can't download the movie I purchased for rental.

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.



I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below to download rented movies offline and check if that helps.

Steps:

1. Select the movie you want to rent and click on
   rent option.
2. Login using Microsoft account.
3. Once you have signed in, you will have two option
   to stream or download movies to this device to watch offline.
4. Select download movies to this device to watch offline and click on next.
5. After Choosing the Next option and you will be asked for the payment option.
6. Once the payment it done, open Movies & TV application to download the movie.

You will be able to watch the movie offline from
Movies and TV application. When you rent, the viewing period is 14 days from the time of your order or 24-48 hours from the time you start to watch (depending on the content you select), whichever comes first.



If you still facing issues downloading the movies after following the above steps. I suggest you to follow the troubleshooting steps mentioned below, to fix issues with Microsoft store.



Steps:

• 1. Open store application on your pc.
  2. Click on the ellipses on right top corner of the screen.
  3. Logout and login back.

movie sites .. pop up/ blocker

how do get this po up thing that keeps coming up everytime i try to watch a movie on these movie sites ( moviemega.com , sockshare.net , putlocker.io ) and my movies do not play when i try to load them. it worked on my last computer, and this is a new
laptop it shoulld be working. I feel like this pop up message is preventing my laptop from streaming the movies on the site I listed. i'd like to know how to get rid of this problem and be able to watch movies on the sites again.

I’d suggest you to reset OneDrive and check if the dialogue pops up. To reset OneDrive:

1. Press Windows key + R together to open
   Run.
   
2. Type %localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive\onedrive.exe /reset and press
   OK. A Command window may appear briefly.
   
3. Click on Start icon, and type
   OneDrive and press Enter to manually launch OneDrive.
   

Note:

1. Resetting OneDrive disconnects all your existing sync connections.
   
2. You won’t lose files or data by resetting OneDrive on your computer.
   

You can also refer this article on

If the issue persists, I’d suggest you to contact OneDrive support.
OneDrive issues are supported by in-app support team, hence you need to contact the team for assistance with the issue. Follow the below steps to contact the OneDrive support team.



Sign in to OneDrive.com from any browser, click the ‘?’ help icon on the top banner of the page and select
Email OneDrive support. Submit your question and follow the prompts to request support.
