Windows 10: How do i get rid of this thing when I turn on Caps Lock??

Whenever I use 'Caps lock' on my laptop this screen shows up. I have seen another question explaining how to stop this from happening but it didn't work. It started this morning and I have never seen it happen before. I have an HP Laptop 15-dy2xxx.

This is likely to be one of those where, as I don't know what you've already tried, I'll have spent time suggesting what you have tried. That's why I asked for a clear list of what you have tried. Do you see this when you toggle caps lock?

 

Getting Rid of Caps Lock Popup in Windows 10

I recently bought an Acer Aspire R13 with Windows 10. The biggest nuisance so far is the caps lock indicator that flashes in the top middle of my screen every time I turn the caps lock on or off. It's
a total nuisance and I want to get rid of it ASAP. I found an answered query [Redirecting] that
matched my own almost verbatim, but it pertained to Windows 7 and the best solution [Posted 0904:23, 11 June 2015, by PSCollins 22] does
not track with the Windows 10 menus. Any suggestions?

For us to isolate the issue about being unable to turn off Caps lock, kindly respond to the questions below:

• If you press the Caps Lock button on your keyboard, does it turn off the Caps Lock?
• You mentioned that you are using Word, may we know if the issue is within Word only or the issue persists in using another typing application (i.e. Notepad)?
