Windows 10: how do I get ride of the DAY in the taskbar. I only want The time and Day to show?

How do I get ride of the DAY in the Task Bar.? I only want the time and Day to show.

How do I get the day and date to show on the taskbar. It used to show with the time, but now it's gone.

On your Taskbar, do you currently just see the time or do you see the data and time?

If you just see the time, right click your Taskbar and make sure 'Lock the Taskbar' is not ticked

Then click and drag the top of the taskbar upwards until the Date and day appears.

If you do see the Date and Time on your Taskbar, but the day is missing

Right click the clock and choose 'Adjust Date/Time'

Click 'Change Date and time formats

What format is set for short date and long date?

Sorry, the only way to get the date to show is to make your Taskbar taller, the date or day will never show on a small Taskbar, regardless of the Date or Time formats you set . . .
