Windows 10: How do I get sound from my Acer SA1 Series monitor?

I have tried updating my drivers for both my graphics card and my speakers and it says they are both up to date, my monitor is not muted either. I have tried trouble shooting the problem but nothing has worked so far.

To assist you better, I suggest you to answer the below questions.

• When will the sound disable, when playing through main monitor or the extended monitor?
• Did you try enabling the sound from the sound drivers and check if it helps?
• Since from when are you facing this issue?

This issue causes because the monitor automatically takes the HDMI sound as the Default input. Disable and enable the speakers and check if it helps.

I suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.

• Right click on the volume control and then
  Properties,
• When you connect the HDMI it becomes the default output device, even though it has no speakers.
• You need to change this back to "Speakers" and set as default.

No Sound!!

I am having issues with sound on my mom's Acer desktop PC. I have troubleshooted the sound, and did as it suggested to do by turning off the sound effects. It's an Acer Aspire XC-603G that is listed in my specs. Where can I find an updated driver for it for this computer? It uses Realtek High Definition Audio.
