  1. How do I get the brightness slider to show up in my settings?

I have not had a brightness slider on my computer since I got it a couple of months ago. I have tried everything that I have found online. I have uninstalled and reinstalled monitor drivers. I have disabled and enabled display enhancement drivers. I have looked in the registry settings. I have updated everything that can be updated. I also did an sfc scan. None of this has worked and was wondering if anyone had any other ideas. Thanks

    :)

  2. screen brightness on windows 10

    Hi,

Some computers can let Windows automatically adjust screen brightness based on the current lighting conditions.

To manually adjust the screen brightness, we suggest following these troubleshooting steps:

    • Click Start, then select Settings.
    • Choose System, then select Display.
    • Under Brightness and color, move the Change brightness slider to adjust the brightness.

Feel free to post back if you have other concern.

  3. Brightness slider

I have followed many threads to try and get a brightness slider to no avail. Also tried an add on but couldn't get that to work either.
Is it possible to add a brightness slider?

  4. How do I get the brightness slider to show up in my settings?

    Brightness slider

After the update, the traditional brightness slider might have been moved to a different location or incorporated into a different settings menu. Look for alternative brightness controls in the display settings, power settings, or system settings on your laptop.
