Windows 10: How do I get the Mail app to use my selected font in Replies?

I have changed the default font and font size in the Windows Mail app. It works properly when I create a new email message. But it does not work when I Reply to a message.When I reply to a message, Mail still uses Calibri Body and 11 point font size no matter what I have selected for the default font.How do I make the Mail app use my selected default font for Reply as well as for new messages?

Font issues with Windows Mail App

In the first case, we need more clarity as to what you are referring as 'set fonts'.

Are you referring to setting fonts while creating an email message? Or are you referring to overall interface of the fonts in the Mail App?

Secondly, in Windows, Mail App collects the address when you either reply to an email or manually type in an email address. So, there is no option to remove/modify or add to an existing contact list.

This feature is integrated to Mail App through People App in Windows. So once you add/delete/modify contacts to the People app, the same reflects under the Mail App.

I would like to inform you that Times-Roman is the default font style in mail app.

I suggest you to provide a feedback and be assured that the concerned team will look into the matter. Follow the steps:

• Press Windows key and type feedback.
• Select Windows Feedback app and share the feedback.

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)
