Windows 10: How do I get the "Restore all windows" context menu back in Windows 11?

Use case: I minimized all windows and just want to see windows for a specific app, e.g. Chrome/Edge. In Windows 10 and earlier, I can Shift + Right-click to bring up the context menu with "Restore all windows" for that specific app. You can't do it in Windows 11.Someone also asked about it back in Jan 31, 2022: Windows 11 missing key Windows 10 FeatureIs there an alternative to perform this action? Does no one have a need to see ONLY the specific app while keeping others minimized?Why do I need this? Because by restoring only the apps I need, it bring those app to the front of Alt-Tab list so

Restoring the Classic Context Menu in Windows 11

Microsoft have not provided a setting to restore the default right click context menu in Windows 11, the only method available is the registry edit to permanently restore the classic context menu in Windows 11.

 

Context Menu - Open With (Windows Suggested List)

Well.. have a look at this:

I took a risk. I've set a System Restore point then installed Gold Wave. It was not present in that Open With list. I used the Default Programs Editor:

Did you click Save...? You should have seen:

Note: if you are running as a standard user you may need to run it as admin, if it doesn't offer a UAC prompt.

- opened via Open With as above.
