    How do I get the same background on two monitors with different aspect ratio's?


    So I have two monitors, my main one is 16:9 1920x1080p, and my second one to the right is 4:3 1280x1024p. I take a lot of screenshots when I'm gaming, speciffically to use as wallpapers. All of them are 16:9, and I want to get the full image on my second and main monitor (which is working great), but how can I maintain this while also making them show the same image?

    Change monitor aspect ratio

    The aspect ratio of your monitor is fixed and can't be changed, because it depends on the arrangement of the pixels on the screen.

    When you display an image on your monitor whose aspect ratio is different from the aspect ratio of your monitor, what you'll see depends on how different the aspect ratios are. Usually, you see black bars on the top and the bottom of the screen, or on the
    left and the right, a familiar appearance known as 'letterboxing.'

    How to change monitor aspect ratio without centering screen

    Hi Ashakil,

    Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

    I understand your concern, make sure you are logged in as admin. After that please follow the steps below and check the aspect ratio.


    • Right click on Desktop.

    • Click on Personalize.

    • Advanced display settings,

    • Display Adapter properties

    • Monitor>scaling>Change Aspect Ratio.
