Windows 10: How do I get Windows 11 S mode to work with Canon Pixma MX512 printer?

Is there any way to use a Canon Pixma MX512 with Windows 11 Home in S mode, short of buying a new printer or switching out of S mode? S mode won't let me execute any printer driver download I have tried, including from the Microsoft store. I tried a printer USB hooked directly to my PC and the PC won't recognize the USB at all. If I switch out of S mode, will that even cure my problem?

Canon Pixma G2010 printer compatibility on Windows 11

Is the Canon Pixma G2010 printer compatible with my Windows 11 laptop? I want to buy a new printer, but when I look on Canon's website, this printer isn't compatible with Windows 11.

 

My Canon Pixma iP8720 printer will not connect with my brand new HP pc with windows 11. Is there any way to make the Pixma iP8720 printer compatible with windows 11?

When I follow the download instructions from the Canon website, it detects the printer. But the download process works for about 2-3 minutes and then says that my printer cannot be detected. It suggests starting over but each time I do that, the same thing happens. Is there a process where my printer can be made compatible with Windows 11? Or do I have to buy a different printer? The Pixma iP8720 is a wide format printer capable of printing sizes up to 13" x 19". I really don't want to have to buy another large format printer because they are very expensive.

Do let us know the following to assist you better:

• What exactly do you mean by Offline and cannot reconnect?
• Have you installed all the drivers for printer after upgrading to Windows 10?
• Is printer being detected on your computer?
• How have you connected the printer to your device?

I suggest you to try the below as a workaround and check if it helps.

Step 1: Try to install the latest drivers for the printer from the manufacturer's website.

Step 2: If the device is not detected on your computer try to run Hardware and Devices troubleshooter.

Hardware and Devices troubleshooter checks for common problems and makes sure that any new device or hardware connected to your PC is installed correctly.

• Press Windows key from the keyboard, type
  Troubleshooting and select it.
• Click on view all option on the upper left corner of
  Troubleshooting window.
• Select the Hardware and Device
  options from the list.
• Click Next to run the Hardware and Device
  Troubleshooter.
