Windows 10: How do I get Windows Security turned back on in Windows 11 after uninstalling SpyBot?

I had Spybot for awhile, but have recently uninstalled it. However, even now that it is uninstalled, Windows 11 refuses to turn its native security back on. I have a constant notification telling me "Turn virus protection on", but, when I go into security settings and click "Restart Now" under "Virus and threat protection", it hangs for about 3 minutes, then throws an unexpected error.I have attempted to reset the Windows Security app, but it's not in my apps list. I have attempted to reinstall Windows Defender, but apparently it only works if you pay for 365 seriously???.How do I reinstall

Spybot overrides Windows Defender

Jono Grant, I had this on file:Spybot Search and Destroy

• To disable real-time protection after a re-installation:
  

1. Open Autoruns as administrator.
   
2. Search for “sd”
   
3. In list, find “Spybot 2 Security Service” and uncheck it.
   
4. Reboot.
   

Note that the service in question may have a different name--look for "Security integration" or something similar.

 

Spybot uninstalled from my PC

Concerning this spybot issue with windows defender, the only problem I have had is the other way round, spybot turns windows defender off, there is no way to turn it back on even going to services, the way I did it was to go to services turn spybot to off
then change it to manual not automatic, once I did that windows defender turned itself back on automatically. seems to me that spybot is the problem or perhaps a conflict between two similar programmes that monitor same issues.

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
