    how do i get windows to stop reading everything aloud that I copy using ctrl c?


    Starting a few days ago, windows reads all text aloud with tts that I copy with ctrl c. I already turned off Narrator, but it didn't fix the issue. I recently installed a number of software programs, such as calibre, epubor ultimate, and zabaware. I uninstalled zabaware, but that didn't fix the problem. There was also a windows update, but the problem didn't start immediately after that, so I don't think that is the problem.Please assist.

    All copies read aloud; Narrator presumably disabled

    Anything highlighted and followed with ctrl-c will be read aloud no matter the application.

    Read Aloud . . .

    If you right click on something,, one of the choices available is Read Aloud. I must have clicked on it, because, now it won't shut up.

    I clicked on it again, but that does not stop it?

    My question is, how do I stop, the read aloud? Thanks for reading this . . . Jerry
