    how do i go about getting back what what i purchased from best buy, an hp pavilion elite...


    i bought a brand new hp pavilion elite hpe windows 7 for 1000.00 from best buy end of 09 and it works great always has. it came with a dvd writer, which worked excellent until i was suckered in to installing windows 10 and now according to microsoft i didn't need the burner that i bought. essentially what i paid for was taken away without buying it back. it seems kind of like highway robbery. so i have a dvd external writer from hp, light scribe, that is or was for windows xp. and it doesn't work can't find the drivers or they won't download to this external drive. doesn't recognize the blank

    I have a HP Pavilion Elite PC

    I have a HP Pavilion Elite PC computer. I do not & cannot purchase a new computer for Windows 10 software. The new features, such as touch screen, facial recognition, etc. are really not needed on this computer. I use it to pay bills, type documents &
    store pictures. I want to continue to receive Microsoft help so if I just upgrade my Win 7 to Win 10 will i still receive support? Thanks

    Can't update the HP Pavilion Notebook.

    I'm trying to update my system and am getting a message to delete HP Pavilion Notebook - BIOS manually as it is incompatible with the upgrade.

    I can't find it to delete it. It's not in the Programs list with the other HP apps.

    Any suggestions?

    HP Pavilion - Coupling to a DATA projector

    I have recently bought an HP Pavilion laptop. It doesn't have a VGA connector so I purchased an HDMI to VGA adapter lead. I still cant get it to project through my DATA projector though. Any suggestions?
