Windows 10: How do I go about reinstalling windows?

I just recently built a whole new gaming rig, equipped with a Ryzen 7 7700x, RTX 4060 TI, 32GB DDR5 Memory, a Gigabyte B650 GAMING X AX rev 1.5 UEFI Updated and an 850w gold Thermaltake PSU.I also have a 1tb Seagate HDD and a WD BLACK SN770 SSD. I built the system as a first time full build, really worried I was going to mess something up. I guess in the process of installing Windows 10, I didn't realize I had installed it to the hard drive. After I had finished everything, I installed drivers and tried to run a game, only to realize then and there it was all for nothing as it was all on the

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Reinstall Windows?

You don't need to reinstall windows. Go to the device manager and remove uninstall the processor and motherboard drivers listed. When you start the system back up you should be able to re-install the new ones. I just changed my mobo/processor Friday, everything is fine.

BTW I have seen some reviews that state practically no difference in using more than 2gb of ram.
